Hey there!
Since starting college I’ve had to stop making this blog a priority, but now that I’ve found my feet I think it’s about time I continued where I left off.
Instead of giving a long explanation of what I’ve been doing for the past two months , I thought it would be nice to do a series of photos. Something a bit more visual that I know I’ll love to look back on!
I decorated my college room, and tried to make it look pretty (all from Penny’s!). I also went to an open air screening of “Dirty Dancing” in Merrion Square. So cool!
I went to Galway to visit my friend. Galway is so beautiful, it’s full of cobbled streets, tea rooms and quaint little shops full of all sorts of knick knacks. I got these beautiful postcards in a shop called Wooden Heart.
When my friend and I were heading back to her house after spending the morning in the city, we came across an art exhibition. It was a huge warehouse, painted all white and on the walls were these beautiful canvas paintings. The paintings were by Jim Kavanagh Art School and the theme was The Cosmos. Looking at these paintings gave me a feeling of calmness and I found the whole idea behind the word “cosmos” so interesting.
I spent a hungover morning in Dun Laoghaire with friends.
One day I was missing home a lot, so I made it my mission to find some sort of green space close by me. I came across this park. It felt lovely to feel the sun on my face and not see a Dublin Bus or bicycle in site. Sometimes you just need to escape from the noise.
A little bit of Paris in Dublin.
I also visited Limerick. The time there was mostly spent eating!
These are pictures from a place called Hook and Ladder. They by far had the prettiest/ coolest interior.
Next thing I knew, it was Autumn, my favourite month. It’s the time of year for scarves, cold cheeks, winter boots, coffee cups and walks through parks.
I had a midterm break, so I made the journey back home. While I was away someone decided to spread good karma, (you never know who needs to read these snippets of motivation).
I missed my beautiful little town.
It’s crazy (as usual) how the year is flying by. It’s even crazier for me to think that this time last year I was in America. I’ve done a lot since and I’m so glad I have this blog to retain those memories.
The posts mightn’t be as frequent, but I’ve definitely not given up on this little memory box.
Bye for now
