Welcome back to another instalment of me eating my weight in pancakes and documenting it.
On today’s agenda, is Lemon and Co. on Dawson St. Dublin.
Lemon specialises itself in pancakes and has gained quite a name for itself in Dublin. After visiting the place I was left thinking it was a chain, that’s why I was surprised to learn they have only two cafés in Ireland, both located in Dublin. One is on Dawson street, where I visited, and the other is on South William Street.
Their menu is endless and can be daunting to take in all at once.
As you can see they specialise in other things such as crepes and sandwiches, but this is a pancakes page so I’ll be only talking about pancakes (sorry two sassy? I’m currently writing this as a distraction from my exams, so I’m feeling sassier then usual).
I’m not the biggest fan of the décor which is a luminous orange and if you’re looking for a quiet place to eat pancakes this wouldn’t be the place as Lemon is ALWAYS packed.
On my visit I went wild and got pancakes with strawberries (sorry, sass is uncontrollable today), named suitably as the strawberry stack.
The pancakes are truly fab and it’s no wonder that Lemon is the first place to come up when you Google pancakes and Dublin (seriously try it!)
The best part is that among the surgery overdose of icing suger and and buttery pancakes is vanilla butter which tastes AMAZING.
The only fault I could have with the place is that the pancakes are unbelievably filling and it results in you being rolled down Dawson St.
Lemon and Co. wouldn’t be my first choice of pancakes in Dublin, but for the vanilla butter I go back every time.
This ends my fifth post on my pancakes page, and I have to tell you I’m really enjoying writing these! It also gives me more of any excuse to eat an excessive pancakes, but that’s neither here nor there.
I hope you have a lovely day 🙂
