Exam Advice (from someone who’s been there done that)

Hey there!

So most schools in Ireland did their mocks this month (pre exams that are preparation for the Leaving Cert in June, or A Levels and SATS as they are called in other countries). And now that midterm is over a lot of students will be getting their results backs from their mocks.

As someone who did their Leaving Cert last year I thought I would dedicate this blog to advice/ techniques for exams to anybody who thinks they need it.

My Goodreads Book Challenge 2015

 Hey there!

If you don’t already know, I’m a book worm. So when I came across this website called Goodreads it was natural that i was going to fall in love with it.

Basically you sign up and do a quick assessment and tell them the kind of books you read, they then use your results and tell you what book you might like to read next. You can also keep progress of the books you’re reading at the moment and follow friends and see what they’re reading as well.

Holocaust Memorial Day- never forget

Hi there!

As I’m sure you know, yesterday was the Holocaust Memorial Day. A day when the world, if even for a second, stopped and remembered the victims that were murdered 70 years ago. The reason I want to write this blog post is because of the simple reason -”we must never forget”.

This motto is used for the horrific events that happened 70 years ago, it reminds us that something like this should never happen again. But how can we stop it from happening again? You and I aren’t politicians or world leaders ( but if you are, that’s pretty cool… hi!) , what can we do ? It’s simple, we all have something in common, a voice.

Lost in Translation

Hey there!

So it’s been four weeks since I left the Island of Hope and returned to the Emerald Isle (or ‘America’ and ‘Ireland’ as people commonly say. Actually everyone says that, I’m just being a pretentious eejit )

Reflecting on my trip I’m surprised I even survived the whole experience…. since I still believe no one TRULY understood me.
